KING'S VOICES, CAMBRIDGE

On Sunday evening last I had the pleasure of attending a wonderful choral concert in Maynooth - outside Dublin. King's Voices mixed choir from Cambridge under the direction of Ben Parry, and supported by Maynooth University College Choir under the direction of Ruaidhrí Ó Dálaigh, presented a concert of religious works by Tye, Gibbons, Byrd, Harris, Gjeilo, Stroope, Palestrina, Poulenc, etc.

What a joy to listen to this glorious music in the beautiful College Chapel at Maynooth.

Sounds like an intriguing mix of pieces.
Some of the pieces:
Adam lay ybounden (Ord)
O Lord make thy servant Elizabeth (Byrd)
If you love me (Tallis)
Ave Verum (Byrd)
Conversion of Saul (Stroope)
Kalinda (Guillaume)
Sicut Cervus (Palestrina)
Videntes Stellam (Poulenc)
Christus Factus Est (Bruckner)
I love Adam lay ybounden.
Beautiful church! I'm glad you enjoyed the concert.
