Christian Tweeting

phoneChrist's very first tweet:

'This is the time of fulfillment. The kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe in the Gospel.'”

catechism

The Vatican now uses e-mail to spread the message:

*lol* ok, who exactly is pretending to be jesus christ these days?
He still does it himself - for anyone with an open mind.
on twitter??
As in normal conversations I'm sure he is saying something to all of us in our connections with people if we listen.
*lol* i see from the other comments that you don't actually understand what twitter is, but this much funnier than i think you may have intended :)
I may be old and dumb - but not quite stupid.
Perhaps the shortest 'tweet' the Lord might have sent is “Shema Israel,” (listen Israel).
actually i think the whole line would fit: "sh'ma yisrael ado[shem] elokenu ado[shem] echad". but that's in the third person, which would just be a little weird, eh?
You see: Your reply is telling me to remember that God is everywhere!! I'm taking it to heart.
excellent well; you are certainly wise in the ways of lj :)
I suspect Yeshu bar Joseph would have _loved_ the technology- any teacher does. :o)
I would have thought so. Unfortunately my own ability with technology hasn't got as far as 'tweeting' yet. I must get my grandniece to give me a few lessons.
It's not one I use as I don't much like the short messaging approach. I find it far too uncreative and limiting for my liking.

A thought strikes me too you know- that's an incredibly 17th century Puritan choice of text! Very millenialist. But then, I suppose as a 17th century historian, it would strike me that way. :o)
What would a 21st century format look like?

English Standard Version (2001)
'The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.'”

Prefer the King James myself. :o)
