The Sky at Night

Crossed-posted from a LJ friend (pickledginger) this morning.

Spectacular shot taken last Friday from Thailand has it all, or at least, lots: the gorgeous, bright-shining Milky Way, the planet Venus, a rocket shortly after launch ... passing by a meteor well into its descent. Yet still a serene and balanced composition.
