They're collecting here today for the Special Olympics. A Citizens' Assembly in Dublin recently voted 80-20 in favour of aborting babies with genetic abnormalities.

Olivia Hargroder, 17, from Brisbane, was born with Down syndrome. Her message to the world is  "When a baby with Down syndrome is born, don't have limited expectations of them - do not automatically narrow down their options from the minute they are born."

She said: "Doctors were wrong about me because I became a chatterbox". They said she would 'never speak' but in April she delivered a powerful speech to the United Nations. She sees herself now on a mission to 'change the box' for athletes with Down syndrome. She hopes Paralympians with T21 can apply under the 'physical impairment' box. At the moment they can only apply under the 'intellectual impairment' category.
