Photographer par excellence

My niece's husband, John Daly, is a society photographer of some repute who specializes in weddings. Recently he has been honoured by having some of his wedding shots displayed as a permanent gallery in the very reputable Killashee House Hotel near Naas. The fact that the display is a permanent fixture and part of the hotel's decor is a great mark of confidence on the part of the hotel in the excellence of his work.  Eighteen images are beautifully printed, framed and mounted along a corridor, each with its own ornate light fixture allowing the images to be viewed at their best.

Killashee House is set in 80 acres of gardens, orchards and woodlands. The 19th century Thomas Turner designed Victorian house was the seat of the Moore family until the 1920s. La Sainte Union nuns purchased the property in 1927 and ran a preparatory school there until 1999. All my nieces and nephews received their primary education there.
Former Irish International and Chairman of Sunderland, Niall Quinn, lives closeby and is said to own shares in this upmarket Hotel.
