Red Alert

storm A very high level of weather warning has been issued. Severe weather will occur in this neighbourhood by Monday. We are asked to be prepared especially if in the red zone - which is creeping up on us here in Wexford. There is potential for structural damage and significant disruption to the transport network. This is  T Th    This is also Halloween weekend to add disaster to disaster!

My sympathies to those involved in the organization of the Opera Festival here in town.

They were also unfortunate this time last year.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. If that map above is right, we're only in the amber zone, but we've been having high winds, heavy rain and even the occasional rumble of thunder already.
